- The last version of the Arri commissioned, Zeiss designed lenses manufactured between 1994-2004
- Identical optically to MKIIs but with sleeker barrel design and larger more legible vertically oriented focus scale
- Super compact, lightweight and very fast
- Improved 7 bladed aperture with pleasing heptagonal shaped bokeh (as opposed to the triangular aperture of the earlier ‘B Speeds’
- Sharp with good but not too overpowering contrast for a ‘vintage’ lens even wide open
