Product Information

Olympus OM have long had a big following in the stills photography world and also had a sojourn into filmaking after Moviecam rehoused them to go with their Super America film camera in the 1980’s. Thanks to Zero Optik they are now available to modern filmakers too in some amazingly compact and robust housings. They’re so light that the wider/smaller primes actually work great on the Ronin 4D.
Designed in the early to mid 70’s, unbelievably by one lens designer for the whole range! They are incredibly consistent in look, texture and aperture. Decent levels of contrast and sharp in the centre they have a gorgeous falloff toward the edges of frame, especially wide open. Flares are lovely rainbow coloured and large.
We started with a smaller set and have kept adding until we now offer 16 focal lengths and multiple sets. They are that good.

  • Very consistant look
  • Large range
  • Zero Optik housings
  • Lightweight
